My photography is founded on the fact that our stories tie us together. In a life where consumerism and material objects take precedence over our memories, our stories, and our legacies, the key in life is to find the moments where the mold is broken and we can pave the way for coming generations.
1000+ square miles of lakes, forest, and untouched wilderness is where my love for adventure and admiration for the unknown developed. Being raised up in the untamed Canadian wilderness and parents who valued experience taught us that the real & raw moments we have in life are the ultimate pursuit.
My years stomping dirt as a kid were around the California Redwoods, towering Rocky Mountains, the brisk Pacific Northwest, and endless highways that tie North America together. Those were the times for me that made life into what it is what it is. In all this, I've never not had a camera in my hand.
From photographing outdoor adventures with my siblings to now capturing love stories across the Hawaiian islands and beyond, it's always been about connection, storytelling, and preserving life’s most meaningful moments—so they can be remembered and cherished for decades to come.
The first of many multi-night trips in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.

Walking up to the Mauna Kea Observatory from the ocean. 53 miles, 0' to 13,800' in less than 24 hours. Fueled on Costco cookies and dominos pizza.

First trip to the Islands.
Canoeing in the stomping grounds. I grew up around hundreds of lakes and rivers, so getting on the water was always a huge priority.

I make it a point to never chase anything that I can perfect and always do things that always keep me in a state of learning and exploration.
When I'm not shooting, you can find me on a coastal dirt road, up in the mountains, or on a plane. Dirt biking, free-diving, hiking, and finding the next honey hole restaurant are just some of the things that keeps me busy out here.
Just ask my wife. If life is slow or if I don't have a challenge, then give me about a day to figure out what that next thing in life to tackle will be.
You'll find us smashing Costco pizza, walks around our neighbourhood, tide pool expeditions, and before bed crossword puzzles. Since meeting on the Big Island and sealing the deal in 2021, we scrapped any form of plan B and your typical "safe" way to live, and instead have been building our lives here in the Hawaiian Islands.

Now, years later, I'm grateful to be able to live in a place as special as these Islands. Learning to be a visitor that I'm not native to and learn from the people, culture, and land is easily one of life's greatest experiences.
After making friends in the Middle East and spending an extended season in the foothills of the Himalayas, my direction shifted to the Pacific Islands.
I grew up in a small town of 1500 people. There were no stop lights, bears were on the street corners, and a river I could fish from every day. The multiple jobs through high school paved the way to take my early 20s to travel the globe.
